This is frugal shampoo. Doesn't look like much does it, but, guess what, it cleans my hair.
It's a simple recipe that l got from a friend; one cup of Castille soap and one cup of coconut milk. That's it.
It works out to around $1.70 for a month's worth of shampoo. I buy a small can of coconut milk and then take an empty container to my bulk food store and fill it with just enough Castille soap. It's then put into an old yoghurt container; l think it's the original one that l used to start making my own yoghurt, but that's a story for another day.
Making most things at home yourself will save you money. More importantly, what l make can also be used to barter.
Yet another area where l save money. There's something else l do to my hair and l'll tell you all about that in the next post.
